Spanish grammar is different to English grammar. For example, Spanish uses an upside down question mark at the start of a question, as well as a regular question mark at the end. Spanish also has two verbs for "to be": The use of "ser" implies something ongoing or permanent, whereas the use of "estar" implies a temporary state. For example, "Soy feliz" means "I am by nature a sunny, happy person" whereas "Estoy feliz" means "I am feeling happy today".
There are also different forms of Spanish - Spanish as used in Spain, which is also called European Spanish or Iberian Spanish, and Spanish for use in South American markets. The difference in a technical documentation context is roughly equivalent to the difference between US English and British English.
